Hannah Pratt starlight Threads Beehive Framed Embroidery on Paper

Starlight Threads is a series of works on paper working with gradients created from image recognition code and Ai programmed to analyse the colour of starlight. I combine the gradients from starlight with threads exploring form and colour to further add the colours of the cosmos.This piece has been created from the light found in the Beehive Star Cluster, in the constellation Cancer.

Details of the piece

Each Starlight Thread is an original piece, embroidered by hand by me in my studio.
The Piece is printed on cold-pressed watercolour paper.

The watercolour paper is 300gsm and has a light/medium texture.
The piece measures 28/38cm (unframed)

Framing
This work is framed in a white box frame with a floating foam core mount with Art Glass/Conservation Glass which will ensure the longevity of the artwork.
The frame measures 35/45cm
