Ansia II, Napoli

One of my favourite activity is people watching (and drawing, of course) and I often find inspiration in coffee shops, when I can see so many amazing people. This lady caught my attention for her style.

Oil pastel are the perfect medium to depict this kind of scene: they are so bright and vibrant and their texture is great to both cover vast areas of the sheet of paper and depict small details.

I hope this artwork will transport you too to Napoli, having a coffee by yourself and just enjoying a slow pace.
