Agnès Giannaros, is a half Greek, half French artist born in Athens, Greece. She grew up on the small island of Patmos before going abroad for high school. She graduated from the Royal College of Art, London in 2019. Before her time at the RCA, Giannaros studied Visual Arts, life drawing and composition at the ESAG Penninghen in Paris, France.
Giannaros often depicts scenes of the Mediterranean life, mixing atmospheric summer scenes, a passion for textiles and the southern Mediterranean façon de vivre, which can be described as being both dreamlike and nostalgic.
