A digital image inspired by the stunning botanical Majorelle Gardens in Marrakech. The artist Jacques Majorelle designed the gardens and painted the garden walls and his house in a beautiful deep shade of blue, mirroring the Moroccan skies. He trademarked this colour as Majorelle Blue which works so well with the soil, climate and plants. Majorelle was an avid plant collector and the garden has about 3000 different species. I wanted to capture the intensity of this blue and a few of the exotic plants.
