For most of us, food can be nostalgic, a genuine link to the past, a memory or moment. Maybe the smell or the taste of particular foods, but sometimes it’s the memories of the meal itself. Many of my new paintings have been inspired my summer holidays in Europe, celebrations and breakfast (my favourite meal).
