This is an original 12 x 12 cm oil pastel study taken straight from my sketchbook, made on a quiet morning walk through Penarth.

I use my sketchbook to pause and notice the small moments in my day, and this study captures one of them: a gentle curve in the path, cool greens, and the first warm light touching the trees. It’s a small fragment of my world, recorded as I saw and felt it.
