This piece is based on the colours found in the Orion Nebula combined with embroidery. The image is an archival print of a glass plate image from 1901 taken at the Yerkes Observatory.

This is an original piece, embroidered by hand by me in my studio.
The piece is printed on Fine Art Pearl 325gsm paper which gives the image great pictorial depth and contrast.
Every piece is printed to archival standard quality.

Framing
This work is framed in a white box frame with a floating foam core mount with Art Glass/Conservation which will ensure the longevity of the artwork.

I am happy to work on commission.
