IK#55_Home is coming is part of the project Inner Kingdom exhibited in Verona and delves into the idea that we can see ourselves reflected in the energetic portrait of another. This process is called Entanglement (interconnection).
This specific artwork is the Soul Portrait of a person who is living an important passage of his life and finally going back to the country where he was born. When I painted his portrait, I wasn’t aware that he was buying a house there and he was planning to move.
The message I receive is the following: “You can leave everything behind and, at the same time, take everything with you. The material and the immaterial are two aspects of a single reality.”
