Comet Study no.1

This piece is a part of my Space Studies series which are small works created using found imagery of the cosmos collected over a number of years. I use embroidery thread to put the colour back into the black and white images. This particular work was created using a drawing from 1600 to illustrate comets entering the atmosphere.

Details of the piece

This is an original piece, embroidered by hand by me in my studio.

The piece is printed on Fine Art Pearl 325gsm paper which gives the image great pictorial depth and contrast. Every piece is printed to archival standard quality.
