Harare, Zimbabwe, has an informal sector that keeps many local families financially afloat. Whether it’s fruit or baskets, pottery or flowers, the vendors determined to sell their produce always have a smile on their face. Despite the long days and hours spent under the African sun, trying tirelessly to make a living, these are some of the happiest people I have ever seen! Throughout my life, they have instilled a sense of gratitude in me.
