"The Butcher's daughter NYC WILD" is a second oil pastel on paper inspired by one of the last photos I took in NYC, last fall. As I was seating at one inside this beautiful cafe I saw this stunning woman standing at the corner between Metropolitan and Driggs Av. I love that she is wearing an animal print coat and one of the items on the white board was a "wild" something; I like how she blends in the surroundings. While making my art I give the same attention to humans, objects, plants and this artwork really is a perfect example of what an urbanscape is for me: people, clothes, signs, vegetation, architecture.
Signed with my initials on the front and full signature at the back.
Fixed with 3 layers of spray. Unframed, cm 42 x 59.4 cm on paper.
