Starlight Threads the Pelican is part of a series of works on paper working with gradients created from image recognition code created to analyse the colour of starlight. I combine the gradients from starlight with threads exploring form and colour to further add the colours of the cosmos.

This piece has been created from the light found in the Pelican Nebula which is located in the constellation Ctgnus or the Swan.

Details of the piece
Each Starlight Thread is an original piece, embroidered by hand by me in my studio.
The watercolour paper is 300gsm and has a light/medium texture.

Size of the piece is 28/38cm

Framing

Framing for this piece starts at £50 and will add an extra 10-14 working days to allow time for the work to be professionally framed. The work is framed in a white box frame with a floating mount with Art Glass which will ensure the longevity of the artwork.Once frame the size of the piece will be approx. 35/45cm.
