Holy cross church, Crediton, Devon, UK linked to st boniface who was born in Crediton saint boniface, born winfrid in the kingdom of Wessex in anglo-saxon England, was a leading figure in the anglo-saxon mission to the germanic parts of the frankish empire during the 8th century. Wikipedia. The church is normally painted from the front but wanting to be different i painted it from the back. There is said to be the ghost of a monk that walks through the graveyard and my sister and i both saw it after my brother was married here some years ago. We both looked at each other and said, 'did you see that' it was a figure in a long black cloak. I don't normally believe in ghost but i know what we saw.. Apparently lay lines also go straight through the church. Hope you find this interesting, i always like a painting with a story.
