The beauty of the sunset on Ashdown Forest - this piece was painted in palette knife in oils and cold wax on canvas board. I've recently been exploring the viscous nature of cold wax - when mixed with the paint it creates extra body that gives the consistency of clotted cream. This is one of my first forays with the medium, I enjoyed effects that came from the experimentation to capture this beloved part of the country.

The painting is framed in a black and gold edged frame, to pick out the richness of the sunset, stung and ready for hanging.

Artwork size: 8 x 10 inches; 20 x 25 cm.

The painting will come safely packaged flat, signed on the back, with accompanying certificate of authentication.

Colours may vary slightly from screen image to final painting.
