This painting depicts the Iceni and ancient warrior Queen Boudicca, leader of the aforementioned tribe. A strong woman, Boudicca fought against the invading Roman army in the British Isles. Painted with a knife in acrylics on stretched canvas, this painting is bold (as Boudicca was), mainly in shades of blue with touches of yellow, green, pink and gold. It is unframed and has sides painted in blue.
