Forging : Allowance

From the atomic to the galactic scale, the forces and forms of the universe are similar. Forces of change create turbulence and chaos but they all find their equilibrium. Whether these forces are the emotional energies within us or those of the universe acting on each other, resistance is a futile and foolish game. Let them form into their natural state. Embrace change. Welcome it. Chase it if you dare. Above all, allow the process and trust your resilience and ability to adapt.

The images in the Forging series were created using oil paint only. I captured the formations as separate layers and then combined them digitally. They are in essence a time lapse of the painting as some layers of paint were moved and transformed before the next capture, or before adding the next paint colour. 

They are available at 100cm x 100cm in an edition of 9.
