‘In Casa by Paboy’ is a small homeware social enterprise based in Naples, founded by craftsman and designer, Paboy Bojang. 

Bojang honed his craft when at thirteen, he worked in his uncle’s tailor shop in his hometown of Serekunda. Living under a brutal 22-year dictatorship, Bojang felt pressure to leave his country, arriving in Italy in July 2015 after a brutal two-year journey across the desert and the Mediterranean Sea. After founding In Casa By Paboy, Bojang was determined to employ his fellow migrants, providing the opportunities that he felt were so lacking. 

“Due to my journey from Gambia to Italy, I always had to ask myself about where my real home was, and how I could change a shelter to create a sense of belonging. By employing other migrants to work by my side, I wish to help people with similar experiences to improve their feelings towards building a home.”- Paboy Bojang
