Part of the series 'Bad Films with Harry', paintings that arose from the artist watching b-movies virtually over the past few years with a friend, this painting is one depicting a dream space. A lot of the films chosen are often done so with a vintage aesthetic, a love for vintage/antique furniture and decor.
Second to memory, Jones's work is primarily about space; the painted, the internalised and projected in depiction. This painting addresses this element within her work whilst also manifesting in a descriptive representation of space.
This painting is on clayboard and is displayed on a French cleat. Depth measurement is of the actual board. French cleat depth is approx 5cm. French cleat fixing is included.
