The remains of the neolithic burial chamber at Pentre Ifan lie on the northern slopes of the Preseli hills in Pembrokeshire. It is one of those liminal places that fascinate me - where the worlds of its builders and of their ancestors overlapped. This print is part of a series depicting iconic structures and buildings in the style in of a 1960s travel poster. The key design element in these prints is the extreme reduction of detail - reducing the subject to simple shapes and solid blocks of colour.
This is an original, handprinted artwork and is not a digital copy.
