The second artwork in The Mariner’s Dreams series, this piece advances the journey by introducing symbols of endurance and fragility. For collectors, it represents the deepening of the narrative — a work that anchors the dreamlike atmosphere in material forms while remaining poised on the edge of dissolution. The Mariner’s Dream #2 unfolds as a study in contrasts: solidity against fluidity, geometry against erosion. Rock‑like forms appear to ground the composition, yet they are enveloped by surfaces that refuse to remain still, creating the sensation of a memory fading before the eye. A small rust‑coloured structure near the upper edge adds a note of narrative — beacon, shelter, or remnant of a harbour — its ambiguity deliberately left unresolved. By inviting projection, the piece becomes a mirror for personal recollection, where myths of loss, refuge, or return intermingle. As the second chapter in the series, it introduces the motif of endurance, but always precarious, always at risk of being reclaimed by tide and time. For collectors, it is both a continuation and a deepening of the voyage, a reminder that memory itself rests on fragile structures, hauntingly persistent yet easily eroded.
