'Stay Longer' is a series of photographs taken in Morocco and Portugal with a point-and-shoot camera, the prints are on canvas ready to be the ground for beading work stitched directly into the image surface.

The beading work follows the line of a shadow or pieces of broken glass. There are transformations to enjoy when these mundane objects are given the space to turn into precious moments catching our eyes, and telling us where to look. The beads make us move through the landscape at a different pace, slower, closer. The mundane becomes precious.
