This is an abstract landscape drawing that evokes memories of travelling in Norway through the fjords and along the coast. It's a refracted view of the land from the water, not quite fully articulated; in motion. Wilson has spent 2023 attempting to make at least three trips per month out of London, where he lives and works, gathering reference sketches and inspiration. This drawing is part of an ongoing series of studio drawings developed from the research materials gathered.
