Created using white chalk, yellow chalk and orange sandstone, Things Change, But Slowly explores the quiet and steady patience required to nurture growth within ourselves. It honours the slow processes by which transformation unfolds, trusting that change arrives when the self is ready to receive it.

Part of the Of Soil and Starlight collection, this painting explores our bond with the earth and the unseen cosmos above. It speaks to the cycles that shape us, departure, discovery, and return, reminding us that even as we reach outward into the unknown, the earth continues to hold us steady.

Material: Painted using handmade watercolours onto natural linen canvas, this is an original artwork finished with a UV-protective matte varnish. The painting is framed in a bespoke solid oak and stained with a gentle linseed oil to enhance the wood's natural grain.

Signature: Signed on the reverse.
