The decorative aspect of the Art Deco period inspired this piece. I hope it can bring a bright, yet relaxed, cheerful vibe to a room (bedroom, hallway, sitting room etc). This is part of a series where I can experiment and enhance my exploration of the technique of hand tufting, using different types of yarn for texture. I chose the subject matter as a device to express the elegance which can be found in 1930s fashion.

It is signed on the reverse and has a wooden frame, ready to hang. The work has been protected with an eco textile spray which should make it easy to keep clean. It needs to be kept away from direct sunlight and any potentially dusty area. I haven't put it under glass, mainly because I don't think it is needed, but also it keeps it affordable and easier to deliver.
