Pencils on heavyweight paper - A2 sized (42cm x 59.7cm)

The starting point was an antique CDV portrait that I’d bought and then developed in a sketchbook piece. I’m undecided if she’s creating a being with her hair, or dismantling him. Either way, for me it’s a piece steeped in desire, longing and resignation.

The piece is framed in a black rimmed frame ready to hang, with a picture wire on the back. The frame edge is 3cm, and has perspex safety glass.
