TRIPTYCH “SOL DO SUL” - A series that is based on the natural cycles of life. They reflect different parts of the natural world. Also inspired by the natural scene in Morocco. Used Moroccan pigments to reflect the colours of the land.

1/3 - A Space

2/3 - A land mammal

3/3 - A flying animal

They are all connected by the sun, the cycles and the environment around them. They go into each other’s worlds whilst still having distinct spaces. Existing in a shared horizon, they represent the world’s wild spaces and eco-systems. The “Sun of the South” creates different shadows, opening up spaces and changing tones. The terracotta tone is the unifier between the three pieces.
