This painting represents who I am as a person and an artist. Although epilepsy is a huge part of my life, I strive not to let define who I am. This was not the first painting-related seizure that I've experienced, but I typically manage to put my brushes down first. However, this time it was all captured on canvas. I returned to it the next day to make sense of the painting, so a lot of it is painted over, but there are obvious marks still visible. The turmoil that was in my head that day actually looks quite beautiful when given some order.
If I can use my art to create awareness and raise money for research I feel there's hope in my work.
Sold framed in a black wooden box frame, signed on both sides and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. (20" x 26" inches)
The painting will be wrapped in glassine paper to protect the fron, corner protectors held on with cling wrap, encased in waterproof bubblewrap and packaged in doublewalled cardboard.
