Aura - Wild Inside pt 1

Aura – Air in Ancient Greek, is the first work in my exploration of the elemental feminine. A symbolic concept found in many spiritual traditions where feminine energy and qualities are intrinsically linked to the four classical elements: water, earth, air, and fire. Qualities like intuition, nurturing, and fluidity with water and earth, while also acknowledging the fierce, transformative power of fire. The collection is called Wild Inside.

The Greek deity Hera – (long-suffering wife of Zeus) seems to have a multitude of goddess responsibilities, but she’s also associated with the air, so I have created this first work around her. A powerful queen calling her own wildness in, and exhaling moonlit magic into an inky night sky.
