This intimate duo brings together two works, Protea and Olive, developed through slow, deliberate processes of ink drawing and gold leaf application.

Working on warm, earth-toned paper, Anni Blooms engages with botanical forms through attention and repetition, allowing each image to emerge gradually. The use of Indian ink and 24k gold establishes a field of contrast, where density and luminosity coexist, and material becomes an active element within the composition.

Rather than returning to botanical representation, these works approach form as a site of persistence. What appears here is not only the plant itself, but the trace of time, gesture, and accumulation.
