This multilayered painting is filled with energy and draws on recurring themes in artist’s practice including Enso circle, contemporary colour field painting, movement and energy. Enso is the iconic circular symbol representing the universe and the duality of life (empty yet full, infinite yet complete). This special circle is painted as one masterstroke, in one breath and no corrections permitted afterwards.

The painting started with Enso painted in black ink using a big performative brush. Colours were added afterwards to amplify the Enso effect, which coincided with the astrological time of Lion’s Gate portal (the height of Leo season during summer). Created to heightened affinity for our passions and aspirations based on the concept of Leo energy said to connect us to our inner sun and our own fire.

The canvas is stretched on a wooden frame and the artwork is ready to hang. Framing is not included and not required. A thin layer of gloss varnish protects the artwork against UV light and dust. Comes with the certificate of authenticity and a secret message from the artist.
