A surreal portrait with Summer Flavours. Creative expression through medium manipulation and idea generation from personal stories are the approaches of realising this piece. A look at self representation of portraiture with romantic symbolism. Deeply expressive facial features and body movements in my works are highly influenced by my cultural heritage and decades long figure studies of historical frescoes and murals in spiritual locations from my birth country Sri Lanka, the gorgeous tropical island.
