In “Miami” from the series "Urban Reflection" Thomas Haensgen paints the cityscape as if it were a performance unfolding on a stage. The skyline stands crisp against an endless sky, mirrored in water so still it feels like a deliberate act of nature’s minimalism—like Miami paused just long enough to admire its own selfie.

The intense saturation of blue and white clouds plays like a visual symphony, inviting the viewer to feel the optimism and chaos that cities embody.
