Ice Abstraction 1

The beautiful patterns on frozen lakes discovered in February are absolutely fascinating. Resembling flowers, branches, stars, and abstract compositions. These intricate formations can only be appreciated from above. Later research revealed that these patterns are actually holes created by vegetation within the lake-an intriguing display of natural art. It showcases a wealth of surreal forms and patterns, yet capturing them in the lowlands of central Europe. This is the title image of the "Ice Abstraction" series, which won second place and a silver medal in the 2024 Prix de La Photographie Paris, France, where it was also presented at the exhibition.

This artwork is a limited edition of 25, fine art giclée print. The fine art pigment printing process will be made on a gallery quality Hahnemühle matt paper with a fine, understated texture. The noble, matt look of the print will show your artwork from all angles without light reflection.

Available in 3 paper sizes: 75x50 cm (29.5x19.7 in), 60x40 cm (23.6x15.7 in) 45x30 cm (17,7x11.8 in).

All sizes include a 3 cm (1,18 in) white border for easier framing, so the printed area is 3 cm (1,18 in) smaller on each side than the paper size. 

The artwork will be hand signed, numbered (on the back of the print) by the author, and accompanied with a signed certificate of authenticity. The print is unframed and will be shipped rolled, protected with acid free paper and bubble wrap, very securely inside a hard tube, via tracked shipping.
