This piece, 'Every Day I Went the Same Way' is a single painting from my collection of women with umbrellas. They represent a snatched, quiet moment between the hectic responsibilities of work or motherhood. The women are enveloped, separated, by their umbrella enclosures, able to reflect and ruminate quietly.
Reminiscent of the film strip, with the woman captured in three shots, vertically stacked, the painting reflects a filmic inspiration.
Painted in oil on panel, as a vertical diptych, this piece comprises of two panels. The piece comes framed simply with painted, wooden a tray frame.
Artwork size:
80cm tall x 30cm wide
Framed size:
83cm tall x 33cm wide x 2cm deep.
The painting will come safely packaged flat, signed on the back, with accompanying certificate of authentication. Colours may vary slightly from screen image to final painting.
