Created during a trip to Amalfi coast. A meditation on canvas. A conversation between chance and choice. This series lives in the in-between where emotion floats just beneath the surface, and memory slips through your fingers. With a muted palette and layered textures, these works are quiet at first glance, but the longer you stay with them, the deeper they pull you in. There is no fixed image. No defined subject. I don’t paint from memory. I paint from the loss of it. From the fleeting moment you feel something, but can’t name it. Using small found objects instead of brushes, plastic tags, pieces of card, I let the materials behave independently. Ink spreads. Gesso resists. Color mixes in ways I can’t control.

Each painting becomes a dream-state in motion led by the subconscious and shaped by gesture. Every piece is a quiet spiritual dialogue between myself and the surface and between the work and the viewer.
