Lisa-Marie Price is an abstract painter based in Hertfordshire, UK. Her practice is centred around using handmade watercolours crafted from foraged Earth minerals and working on offcut linen to reduce her environmental footprint. She delves into themes of climate change, mindfulness, and the significance of being present, with a focus on our relationship to the natural world. Through delicate brush strokes and textured compositions, she creates a quiet calmness that encourages reflection and invites viewers to reconnect with nature.
Represented by Columbia Road Gallery in East London, Price’s work has been showcased in prestigious venues such as the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, MK Gallery, D Contemporary Gallery, Copeland Gallery, The Other Art Fair, and The Shard. Her paintings have also been featured on platforms including Saatchi Art, The Guardian, The Flux Review, Go With Yamo, Rise Art, and MK Gallery. Price’s work has been included in numerous group exhibitions across the UK, and she has completed private commissions worldwide.
Price graduated in 2008 with a Fine Arts degree from the University of East London. Through her paintings, she seeks to inspire a positive shift towards environmental preservation and encourage a deeper, more mindful connection to the Earth.
