'Holiday Dreams'

Acrylics on deep-edged canvas 16"x16" (after framing 19"x 19")

After a much needed holiday to Turkey this is the first painting that followed my return. The lush green of the foliage (with occasional purple flowers) and brilliant blue sky. It was so hot but yet so perfect; the only colours I could use to portray this was white and gold. Using artist grade acrylics in green, blue, gold, white and purple and using a palette knife to layer the paint, making marks and scraping colour across the canvas.

It will be sold in a light wooden tray frame, however it is easily removed should you wish to change the frame, or hang it unframed. The painting is signed on both sides, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. The painting will be sent wrapped in glassine paper to protect the front, corner protectors held on by cling wrap, encased in bubble wrap and packaged in double-walled cardboard.
