This is an original linocut print on fine Japanese paper by London based printmaker and painter Ellen Von Wiegand.
I speak to fill the void, but I wish I didn’t. I speak to assert my presence but I’d rather fill the room with quiet strength. I aspire to have the steadiness to speak only truth, to not use speech erratically and without aim, but only with sincerity and for the purpose of honest connection and understanding.
As all prints are hand pressed, each will have some minor differences, which I believe adds to the character of the print. I cannot guarantee that you will receive the edition featured in the photo.
12"x 8" linoleum print hand printed on a 15.75" x 11" sheet of Japanese Hosho paper. Limited edition of 16.
