This print is part of 'If Clouds Were Mountains' series which is a collection exploring the clouds and landscapes of Armenia in Colombia where the landscape creates incredible cloud formations.
There is a deeply nostalgic, almost cinematic atmosphere to this image. It captures a quiet evening by a rooftop pool, bathed in surreal, intense colours that you just don't see outside of the region.
As the age of the film I used is over 20 years old the aging process of the film is what created the incredible, heavy grain and shifted the natural twilight colours into deep magentas, vibrant pinks, and moody teals.
This image was taken using a Pentax ME Super using expired 35mm colour film from 2006.
The image was taken on top of an apartment building in Armenia capital of the Quindío region in Colombia in the Summer of 2025

The Details:
- Each print is printed on German Etching 100% Cotton 310 GSM paper, which is acid free and archival standard.
- The print is available in several sizes and framing options.
- The print is sold unframed; however, framing options are also available so your print arrives ready to hang, but please keep in mind that at least an extra 14 working days will be added to the order so the print can be framed professionally.
- I usually frame the pieces in an off white wooden frame on a floating mount in a in a box frame with Art Glass as standard to ensure the longevity of the print.
