This work is part of a series of paintings created both 'plein-air' in my garden and in the studio. I look intensely at a viewpoint and at the moment of blinking or after a moment of pause, I begin to paint. Have you ever looked at a view and wished you could capture something, hold onto a memory or a thought? That's how these paintings began.
