SOTA is delighted to present ‘We Who Belong’, the inaugural solo exhibition by award-winning photographer, @rontimehin, sponsored by @adobeuk.

Held from 18th-21st June in Fitzrovia in London, ‘We Who Belong’ celebrates four distinct communities across Ghana through photography, each with their own powerful histories including the Kaklamadu fishing community in Labadi, Accra; the Ga Wulomo, the traditional spiritual custodians of the Ga people; the historic artisanal fishing settlement of Jamestown, Accra; and the communities of Akosombo, in the Volta Basin. This project was produced by My Runway Group.

Ron Timehin is a visionary photographer from London. His work is about people, who they are, where they belong, and what it feels like to be seen. This year, pieces from the show have been shortlisted for the Sony World Photography Awards in the Professional Portrait category (with 430,000 global entries) and the images were exhibited in Somerset House in April 2026. His portrait of his local fishmonger was also selected for Portrait of Britain Vol. 8, led by the British Journal of Photography.

We are pleased to share that the limited edition prints, half of which have either been nominated for the Taylor Wessing Portrait Prize or the Sony World Photography Awards, are now available on SOTA here.
