My paintings investigate the highs, the lows, the anxieties and heightened emotions that come with being a parent and have been described as being beautiful and whimsical but also psychologically charged. The constant observation of my children, myself and the home provides the magical starting points and necessary stimuli for my work, which also incorporates pattern, animals and elements of landscape.
