Two jaguars were created as a commission for a private client. The jaguars are depicted prowling downward in perfect synchronisation as if descending from above. Their mirrored poses create balance while also suggesting motion and stealth. Warm golds, creams, tans and black dominate the piece. The jaguars' coats are rendered in rich golden tones with crisp black rosettes, while their pale green eyes provide a striking focal point. The repeating motif in metallic gold evokes classic Art Deco design. The artwork blends realistic wildlife with decorative contemporary design.
